    those wheels look amazing..

i have to admit, most people have no idea when it comes to buying wheels that look good.

what wheels are they? they look similar to TSW Nurburgrings?

Dunno what the deal is with the thumbs, maybe a bug from using Tapatalk.

Car is lowered with pedders springs. Ride is still pretty comfy most of the time. Is better since getting the new tyres which are Nexen ( had Potenzas prior). Dunno if it's because the rubber is new and softer, different tyre pressures or softer sidewalls but bumps like catseyes are a lot smoother now.

Rims are a new brand called Icon ZEST.

Let's just say a really good price
And meet a really nice guy with a GEN II aluminum, got it in march. I told him to join the forum so will see if he does.
Number plates were 11plz 18x9 rims on it now offset of +38 very Hella Flush.
He asked me about cruising and sounded keen so will get him to come on next cruise.

Craptastic iPhone spec photo, sorry about that....

18x7.5 +45 (-presumably, not 100% on their offset) cheese cutters, but they sit out nicely. Pretty much flush at the back, and about 1-2mm poke at the front.
    They do scrub...

Wow... Odd... My 18*7.5 +45 do not scrub with 225-45's on them... Though i think the Jax guy may have dialled in a little extra camber on the rear.

I never knew that 18x7.5 +45 would sit flush

I wasn't expecting them to either. But in saying that, these rims are second-hand from my housemate, who got them second hand off his mate. So I'm not 100% on the offsets for them.

Along with the rest of the Mazda community...

I know of one person with them, and they aren't for sale

Can buy them from the us for about 2.5-3k shipped.. Probably won't get them for under 2k here...

I remember ASV in Sydney had an RX8 GT they were wrecking not too long ago, however by the time I found out most of the parts had been sold... rather quickly!

edit: I personally wouldn't pay more than $1500 for a set without tyres.

Wuttt? 18X9 on a Gen 2 with a +38 offset? How did he even got those to fit?? Thats like rub everywhere u go... Tell him to show photos!!?? From my research the most you can do without scrubbing in a Gen 2 is 8.5 with a 45 offset. or 8 with like a 42 offset..
