@gslrallysport @37371118 did you fix the problem with the noise?
My front remsa pads are making noises when slowly coming to a stop.
All pads are fitted correctly.
I have dba t2 slotted rotors

Yep, that's a good suggestion. Sometimes the Remsa pads need some decent heat cycles to properly bed them in. How many kilometres have you done on them since installation?
Also what is you invoice number just so I can confirm what you have been sent?

Another thing, if the calipers are not clean and properly lubricated, especially on the sliding surfaces, then it does not matter what pads you put in, they will still squeal.
Maybe mine weren't fitted properly been on my car for long time now and still making noise after warmed up. But I think I kinda get used to the noise now :P
My a1rm's squeal a fair bit...
Couple of hard stops sorts then out reasonably quickly...
Hard pads + slotted rotors do squeal more too...
The Remsa pads really shouldn't squeal. I actually run the Remsa pads on my own car (VW Bora 4Motion V6) and have never heard a peep out of them. You may have some glazing of the pads occurring. You can try giving them a scuff on some smooth concrete to refresh the face of the pads and remove any glazing. While there out, check that all the slides are greased sufficiently and that there is no build up of road or brake dust around the pistons or bridge side of the caliper. Also make sure that the spring clips on the back of the pads have plenty of tension in them so they squeeze tightly into there positions.
Good luck
Cheers Matt

@gslrallysport Order number is 113676.
I will try and put some heat into them. Whats the most appropriate way to bed them in again? How many times is sufficient? I think last time I did a few at 60kph then 80kph. Is it necessary to let the rotors cool down after before you can leave the brake pads in one spot? that in regards to having an even finish on the rotors. No idea how long they take to cool down... I don't think mine have any glazing on them. I recently had them all apart because I painted my calipers. I only greased up the pistons, and made sure springs had tension. I didn't grease the slides. Not sure how many k's I have done on them. 500-800k's maybe.
Can I find out the current pricing for a set for my gen 1 mps3 (front)?
When you say you greased the pistons, what do you mean? Also did you paint the calipers off the car, or on the car?
The easiest bedding in procedure can be seen here, http://qfm.com.au/userfiles/files/BE...-PROCEDURE.pdf
You want to wait a good 10-15 minutes to let the brakes cool down between bedding in applications.

whoops, i meant pins, not pistons. I wrote that late last night lol. I painted them off the car, I don't know how you could do a good job painting them on the car??

I did the bedding in procedure last night. If I still get noise I may take the pads out and double check everything over the weekend. I hate taking the front pads out on the mps because of the clip that is under tension holding the outside pad in. Last time I tried to put in on after I just painted my calipers, I slipped and it put a big chip on the front of the caliper!! Any other tips while I have them out @gslrallysport
There really isn't anything else you can try sorry. If everything is greased and fitted properly you shouldn't have noise. I thought maybe if the pads didn't any side shamfers, you could grind a shamfer into the leading edge of the pad, but they already come with shamfers.
Let me know how you go.

What are these like in the way of brake dust?

How just purchased a set of remsa pads.... Just waiting for them to get over here to nz now. Will update when I have em on the car
Hey guys,
I'm in need of new front pads and rotors. Instead of just doing the front I'm looking at doing the rears too; get it all done at once.
I have a 6 MPS and don't track the car. Just wondering what you would recommend for a disc and pad all round and a price?
Cheers,
Jason
