Default NEW XFORCE Headers for V8 UTES at Sandown

It’s been a crazy few months since announcing our involvement with the V8 UTE series but we are absolutely enjoying every minute of it. It has been great working with all the teams, our engineers have been hard at work at the manufacturing labs and we can now reveal the latest creation for all 32 Holden and Fords on the grid for the V8 UTE series.

A new sound will add to the excitement of the 2013 Auto One V8 Ute Racing Series when XFORCE Headers and Exhaust Systems are fitted to all 32 race Utes prior to hitting the track for Round 5 at Sandown Raceway next month. XFORCE came on-board as the official Headers and Exhausts supplier to the Series this year and after extensive testing, Sales and Marketing Manager Tom Wallace is excited to add the final result to the Race Utes.

The brand new headers are 304 polished stainless, mandrel bent and TIG welded and with 1 7/8” four into one design and laser cut flange plates for more response and horsepower.

“We at XFORCE are very excited to be part of the V8 Utes program and to release the new headers for all 32 cars. This will complete the full front to back exhaust system and we are sure that the teams will be happy with the improved performance results. V8 Utes is a great platform to connect with our customers and also to utilise the involvement for ongoing research and development, which is one of our core values. We hope that everyone enjoys the "new sound of the V8 Utes,"" said Wallace.

Series front-runner and Yokohama V8 Ute Rookie leader Elliot Barbour has already had a feel for the new exhaust system and can’t wait to try it out on the track. “They sound really good, the engine felt crisp and on a whole it felt great. I’m looking forward to racing with them at Sandown,” said Barbour.

TBR Team Manager Terry Bull fitted the new XFORCE system on Rhys McNally’s Holden and Jack Elsegood’s Ford yesterday and is really impressed with the look and performance.

“We tested the system on the Utes a few weeks ago and they were great. They fitted on easily enough yesterday and are going to sound great on the track,” said Bull.

Category Manager Craig Denyer of SPHERIX is pleased to have XFORCE in the Series.

“Not only from a technical component standpoint but also a commercial component, XFORCE are a great fit with the Series. The racing will sound even better and we’re looking forward to a long and healthy relationship,” said Denyer.
