Jody is road tripping to Victoria - want to catch up?

Hello, I have decided that I need a road trip so myself and my almost 16 year old son are heading to Victoria.

We plan on leaving Brisbane on or about the 21st of June, driving down the pacific motorway.


Was wondering if anyone wants to catch up along the way? NSW or ACT and of course VIC??

Plans are not in concrete yet but rough idea is to leave here and travel to Sydney, stay for couple of hours then head to Canberra, stay for a couple of hours then off to Albury where I will spend the night before heading to Victoria the next day.

I am staying in Victoria at Morwell and hope to be there for about 10 days or so. And then head home doing the same sort of thing...


Let me know if you can/want to catch up. Even if you live somewhere I drive through. Happy to stop for a break.

Would be good to make a vic cruise out of this one.

Check out the calendar for Haunted Hills and see if a hillclimb weekend is in order? Not far from Morwell, lol.

As for pub, not one @ Walhalla, but a great historical site to check out and take the mine tour.

I can do Sunday the 23rd or Saturday the 29th or morning on Sunday the 30th. Need to be at the MCG by 4pm on the 30th.

Or any of the week nights between the 23rd and 30th.

I am happy for you guys to plan and let me know.

@SarcasticOne can you arrange the Canberra crew for Saturday the 22nd?

I will leave Brisbane about 2am and if people in Sydney want to catch up will stop there first. (Anyone in Syd want to organize something)

So not sure what time I will be in Sydney or Canberra. Will consult the maps etc and give times in the coming days.

It's an awesome trip Jody (did it myself when i picked up the 6) but OMG the speed cameras through NSW to VIC are thick on the ground..
