    ah well, all fixed now
well, the dent is gone... but there is still a nasty scratch

so, here's the story of how the not-so-mechanically-minded one removed his dint

so following luke/brad/TD's advice with applying heat to the bumper, and luke saying to take the stone tray off, i searched the house for tools for the job, and here they are:

that's all that was in the house...

tried to pull the stone catch tray off, that failed...
couldnt get decent access at the bolts...

so, got the shits, wondered if i could get at it via the engine bay... nope
sat down next to tyre and had a bit of a and
then wondered if i could get at it through the wheel well... turned tyre, attempted to remove the plastic inside, that didnt work, in the end opened it up enough to get hand through

(yes my rims are covered in brake dust)

i was able to reach through to the dint
4L of hot water later, pushed on it enough to pop it back into place

On Princes Highway ust before Forest Road.
Been having my cars repaired there for many years always done an excelllent job.
Will be there in the comming weeks myself. Backed into a disable ramp that was to low to see in my rear view. Nice scratch on rear bumper. Not as bad as yours though.

+1, my car is booked in there for next week, great guys I have a really good feeling about them after seeing them, also pushing my insurance company to replace parts over repairing.
Talk to Kevin, maybe you can borrow some of my AB paint while mines in the booth, their number is 9790-6960.
