    Not sure mate.

The H&R US website lists "52683" as the BL spring option (new)

The UK and German H&R sites still list 29228-4 as the part number.

Would say StreetUnit should list 52683, and that they have a keying error on their site, but I'm unsure as to the difference between the US and UK/German sites. I can tell you that my springs are black, not red

    alright, i have listed gen2,

mazda6 and mazdaspeed6 will have their own listing.

the different part numbers are a euro part number, which isnt what i follow. what i have listed is the part number on US and what is in our catalog.

H&R part numbers are accurate for their applications.

as for shocks... $705 for Koni Sports (yellows)

Typically.. H&R sport springs are black, while race springs are red, BUT colors do not matter, as it's not a set standard. so your springs may differ.

So would the 2010+ H&R springs fit a 2007 MPS 3? and vice versa?

as far as i know, they're different. H&R has different part numbers listed for their respective application. sorry for responding so late.

    Hi Jeff,
Sent you an email today, but thought I'd ask this question in forum, just in case others get the same response from someone:
I contacted a suspension place here in Melbourne, and enquired about availability of the 52683 H&R springs, the response:
    "Hi David,
    Thanks for your enquiry.
The part number supplied is actually an American part number. It's only
designed for use in the USA. This is because of different road conditions
compared to here, they can run softer springs.
In Australia the spring kit doesn't do the job and can cause the vehicle to
be unstable and uncomfortable. In fact, some cars can actually bottom out.
We only use and recommend the European spec spring kits direct out of H&R
Germany. For this vehicle we use the part number 29228-4"

In saying that, if members such as Dan haven't had an issue with the 'USA Spec' H&R Pro springs, then obviously they're not as bad as pointed out in the email.

Question is, is there any truth in what he has told me? (roads in Western Melbourne are somewhat worse than those where Dan is)

Hmmm I can't comment on the US part number as mine (29228-4) are the German/Euro part number:

Thanks Dan. I should have read the thread a bit better too, only skimmed through it at work. In that case, that must be the difference, same height just ones softer than the other.
Where did you get yours from Dan?

EBay, private seller. Was comparatively cheap when I bought them, but not as good as that price ^

i honestly wouldnt know about the spring rates, as h&r does not release spring rates, so we can't compare. I know that Tein does release spring rates, and they do have different spring rates for different countries for their coilovers, but with coilovers, spring rate doesnt matter as much, as long as valving of the dampers are set accordingly.
