Oh Crap - Oil Leak...?

...So was down at Fulcrum today for the OzMPSclub Suspension Info Day. Up on the hoist, someone pointed out an oil leak!

Only has 27,000km!

Didn't Cton have this issue?

His was a porous (spelling?) engine, not 100% certain of symptoms though

Yep my car had a bad block and was leaking straight through the walls.
If that was your case it would have happened a long time ago.
looks like a gasket problem for your car.......

Dan,i feel for u . Cant quiet tell where its coming from in the photo,but it does look like its traveling down from higher above and only recent from the lack of dust /dirt adhered. Good luck.

Sorry to see it might be something real simple,it could be a spill that has worked it's way down give it a degrease first and see what happens and then take it to mazda..... I had a couple of cases over the years where it was spillage that worked it's way down and after cleaning never come back... Good luck...
