    Default First Service

With 10,000 kms coming up shortly, where do you recommend a good dealership to take my MPS3 for the first service in SE Melbourne?

I took mine to Penfold. Tad expensive in my opinion but I can't fault their service

I took mine to Penfold also and agree. A little exxy, but very good service and the Service Manager is open to most mods

Have also heard reasonable things about Garry and Warren Smith in Mulgrave. When my next service comes up I might also contact them for a quote as they're just around the corner from work

Booked in at Penfold in a couple of weeks. Told them I wanted an experienced mechanic on my car, not an apprentice. Not sure they really care but I'll see how I go.

Don't really care about the price as my car is leased so all included in the lease price.

Scott's the Service Manager down there. I've found him to be pretty good. Maybe have a chat to him when you drop the car off if you're worried

Thanks I will do. I'll mention OzMPS club and I'm sure they'll treat me well!

Make sure you ask them to activate the auto-lock feature at the service. Really cool. Once it's active, all you do to lock the car is walk away. It will lock itself when you get about 3m from the door.

Well first service at Penfold Mazda and all good.

No issues with loss of power with ECU updates and if anything a slight gain.

Activated the auto lock function, without blank faces and questions and it is awesome.

I own an MPS and I am legend!

$294 which I thought was fairly reasonable. Cars leased though so all included in the package.
