Go to mazda and get them to do it

That is what I did when I changed mine from the red/black dots to the silver (sp25) one. As the red/black dots was the one thing I hated about the car.

Im taking them out to customise them. They maybe able to show me tho.

Was hoping to play with them over the weekend.

Just a quick update on this.

I removed my dash strips today.

Although my above listed link is for LHD, it is still very useful.

The smaller one is quite easy to pop out.
    1. Stick your hand between the trip and steering column and pull the whole section towards you. it will then slightly loosen.
    2. Get a credit card and slide it under the the bottom left corner and give it a good yank up. the part should pop up.
    3. Run the the card towards the right corner and yank up
    3. Repeat for top right corner
    4. Was a bit worried on the top left corner as to how much force to apply. I just grabbed the loosen part and pulled it upwards.
    5. Unplug harness
    6. Pinch the tabs and push the switches through.

Longer piece is exactly same as LHD, except for when you get to the 4 red tabs. Instead of pushing down on the tabs, you gotta push up from the bottom. If you look carefully, the bottom of tab locks onto the plastic so pushin up releases it.
