Just an interim upgrade to a Nexus S, while I wait for a good Dual Core phone to come out. I have a short attention span when it comes to gadgets. I've had this for a year now...which is pretty good!!

Good choice in choosing the Nexus S Rowie. Definitely a good step up from the Nexus One, but its got the same year old hardware as the Galaxy S, and you're locked into 16gb storage (no MicroSD). I bought mine from BestBuy in the US back in Jan this year and used it for a few months but now its sitting in my cupboard while I use a Motorola Atrix dual core phone

LG have their Optimus 2X out, and they're pretty cheap on ebay ($589) - its also quite a nice handset - I probably would have considered this instead of the Nexus S if it was out in Jan this year.

The Atrix is pretty much my interim phone until the Galaxy S II is released. Will be interesting to see just how fast it is after the first Galaxy S was pretty much a laggy POS, and the build quality was cheap (fragile)...

For those interested in buying Rowie's Nexus One, its actually a very good reliable phone. I had mine for 8 months, which is actually the longest I had ever had one particlar phone

I know what you mean. The nexus s will be my interim phone til I can see what the galaxy 2 is like.

The LG 2x isn't nextg compatible.

Maybe Google will release another phone which will be better. I prefer the pure Google experience with no bloatware.
