    Default Hi from Kuala Lumpur!!

    Dear bros,

    Hi!!

I've just gotten my ride 5 days ago - MK2 MPS3. This is the first time Mazda brings in MPS to Malaysia and i am probably the very few owners who have gotten it early

Hope to learn from you guys

    Cheers

    Congrats and Welcome

Your front number plate bracket looks much better than the stock brackets our cars come with in Aus

Hi to a fellow countryman and an owner of an MPS. Must have cost you an arm and a leg to get it there considering their duty taxation laws. the basic mazdas already cost around Rm90,000. Thats like paying 90,000 roonies here. Ouch!!

Congrats on acquiring one though!!! Hang around here to get to know everyone

    addt:

Actually, the MPS3 is quite competitively priced I must say - Good on ya to get one....U'll be able to give a few show offs a run for their money there for sure!!

Just found this on a Malaysian website: Possible MPS2 and rebirth of the MPS6?

Mech81, nice to see you here. MK2 MPS is actually priced very well in Malaysia. Got it for RM 177k OTR and that's about 30k cheaper than a golf GTi.

    Welcome.
    Great looking car.
No-one will mistake that for a Proton taxi.

I was on my holidays in Malaysia just last week, i must say the MPS will definately stand out amongst all those Proton's over there =). During my trip in malaysia, i did not see a single gen2 mazda 3, let alone the mps.. so im am sure you will be one of few owners across malaysia. Enjoy !!! and becareful! ( malaysian style driving is a diff story altogether)

You should put an 'OzMPSclub.com' sticker on your back window...

    Congratulations on the car !

When I was in Malaysia on holiday I was looking down from the hotel window onto the traffic. Sheeesh..what a nigtmare, although everyone seems to know how to merge and not hit anyone.

Ditto bro! Nice pick up and not too badly priced with hefty Malay tax! Be one of a kind I reckon and welcome to the forum!

Have there been any pics on this post? I want proof it's not a Proton with a scoop.

(I actually couldn't find a decent Satria with a scoop so I've used this random unknown vehicle)
