I don't think it gets advertised as a rival to the gti or wrx well enough. Hard advertising to start with but none now... I hardly see any Mazda ads. Or maybe that's because I don't watch enough tv.

Oh yes I forgot about that ... imagine being able to add MPS6 to performance model breakdown

I feel like Andy from Shawshank Redemption ... maybe I ask for a new MPS6 twice a week now instead of weekly

The newest ad I have seen has an Aluminium MPS in it all the way, however in the ad it was not mention at all it was an MPS which I thought was weird.

However I dont recall ads for WRX's, STi's, XR5s and Lancer Ralliarts, just like mazda these brands have used ads to display their basic model i.e: Impreza, Focus and Lancers.

Yet they sell more of their "top" of the range vehicles?

Their existence is common knowledge, most people still have NFI what an MPS is when you tell them about it. Mazda just need to build the brand up and that takes time.

The MPS is way overdue for an update.
The sales figures would reflect that.

Really, I do not think we had a Series 2 Gen 2. The Gen 2 came out in July 2009. Nearly two years ago. it does need an update.
