Default Removal of Mazda emblem / logo from boot lid

    Hi,

Does anyone know how to remove the 3 logos from the back of the MPS 6? I like the clean boot lid look, but am afraid of needing to respray the back if I stuff it up.

Also, will I be left with any holes to fill and paint, has anyone taken theirs off?

    Cheers

There are other threads on this exact topic: have a search for them for in-depth discussion.

I removed mine by warming the adhesive with a hair dryer and sliding fishing line back and forth behind each badge. They come off surprisingly easy.

The Mazda badge has holes, as does the central 'M' badge. The '3' didn't have holes on mine so I assume the '6' doesn't. I've not touched the MPS badge though.

Warm it as said above, I used a CD, If your careful, they dont scratch.

The Mazda symbol has 2 holes. I found this out the hard was when I was debadging mine, had to put it back on. The Mazda, the "6" and the "MPS" do not have any holes on the 6 MPS.

In post 24 of this thread is the finished product - much better

I took just the "6" off mine cause I have OCD and the height of the 6 was higher than the Mazda & MPS badges and didn't fit in line!!!
