Exclamation ( Depulu Wheels ) is a one stop shop for all wheel repairs

Thought I'd post this up as I started to look at fixing one of my wheels and this is what Grand Prix Motorsport use to fix their rims...

They are Gold Coast based and have just opened in Darra Brisbane..

They pick up anywhere in Australia and it looks like a easy to follow web site..

    Hope this helps people

    Much appreciated Rino.

I found out a while back that one of my wheels is pretty buckled, and the evil harpy of fate stepped in a few days ago, and I gutter scraped one of the front rims.

Depulu is fantastic. Just got one rim refurbished by them, and the result was spot on. Which is good as I am really starting to dislike driving on the RX8 rims and tyres. Also sent two Porsche turbo rims there at the same time (both had buckles), and the turnaround for all three was exactly the same and quicker than I expected.

I know some of your pain Rino. This was done by one of those roaming gutters, that just jump out. A bit like drop bears I guess.

I just emailed Depulu for a quote. I'm afraid...

    Good one Rino .
Not sure if there is any where in Cairns that can do this work but if not and depending on what Depulu quote, will look at sending my existing wheels for repair (gutter rash on two of them) and possible respray once I get new wheels in a few weeks time.

My wheels are currently there now, after being detroyed by ETyreStore.

They did try to fix them, with Ford Silver touchup paint, but they were in perfect condition prior to their engagement.

Depulu is fixing them good as new...!

Just got off the phone from these guys, got a ballpark quote:

Freight from Sydney: ~$50 per rim. (with the tyres removed to keep size / weight down)
Repair minor gutter rash, remove existing paint and re-paint: ~$160 per rim. Though for the paint job I want add an extra $100 per rim

    Quite keen.

    Ouch Brad!!!!

I feel your pain too, I have gutter rash on all 4 rims now. Combination of bad luck for the first one (massive rock sitting in the gutter near home that I didn't see in the dark), and stupid friggin' lack of concentration mistakes by me. I sold my Astina with not a scratch on the wheel covers, can't believe my luck with this car since I've had it

I might look into these guys for a quote on mine too...
