Nice I have heard this on a cruise just recently , I can hear it driving towards me but I can't hear when I was driving in front of this car .. While I think of it what does mine sound like from behind ??????.

I've been wanting to remove the baffle muffler and replace it with a piece of pipe or a resonator for some time now, I've also noticed that cars in the US don't have that big chunky center muffler and instead have a resonator, but that sounds really tuff and like all MPS3s should...

Any photos of what it looks like below and what you removed???

Sounds awesome I got an offset magnaflow muffler in replacing centre one atm but am considering getting the other 2 removed or maybe flagged so I can drop them out when I want

There's only one muffler Jim. One muffler, 2 resonators and two cats on a stock gen 1. Mine now has one cat (high flow), and 2 resonators... lol

That sounds cool. I bet Could you fit a bypass pipe alongside the muffler?
I'm thinking solenoid, valve, and "bi-modal" exhaust switch.
I want a bi-modal pirate pipe. Two faced : Stealth vs attack mode.

Remove a resonator and it'll drone...

200 cell cat, 1 str8 through muffler and 1 resonator at the rear will be Db legal.

Any less and the system will start to bark a little too much.

Booked mine in for this Saturday to get the pirate pipe mod done, costing me a mere $60 from a local exhaust shop to do it.

I was really surprised when the exhaust guy knew exactly what I was talking about and which muffler I want removed, just happens so that his brother owns an MPS3 and they have done the same thing to it!

Ok i shall call it "Bloody Big Muffler Delete" or BBMD for short!

Yeah it will be but you have a DP and aftermarket Cat, mine is bone stock, and I doubt it would be any louder than my N/A Integra.

N/A cars are always louder than Turbo cars and my Datsun was another great example of that, some times sounded like a rotary with the choke pulled out first thing in the morning lol
