They're really only necessary for big HP engines - as in 400hp+

The increased pressure (boost & fuel) in the cylinders at this level of tuning can force past the OEM seals, and the increased heat can also causes the OEM seals to warp and then fail.

Based on your list of mods in your sig - and noting no engine performance mods - this isn't really necessary for you.

Im want to get the SURE rear diff mounts for the 6MPS but was concerned that they are 3 pieces screwed together with the cap screws, albiet in a fashion that would prevent dis assembly but i still see it as a point at which they could separate, why are they designed like this and not a 1 piece design like the CPE ones?

    Hmmm
I would direct your question to cullen@suremotorsports.com

He has always returned my emails in a timely fashion, with information relevant

Smokey is right only really suitable on High HP motors, but i'm thinking may also be a good precaution on a 80,000+km motor that's been modified. There will be no noticeable gains unless your stock ones really suck but its more a precaution, for the future

Just purchased the Torq S3 drivers and passengers as had to make a decision quick as both are on the way out! Shipping was hefty @ $113. 2-3 days? Also checked out mail forwarding but was the same if not more. Let you know how it goes.

I had stuff delivered to nz. As much as the shipping was pricey, it was way quicker than ordering from Aus and about the same price.

What are peoples experiences with the Dreadnaught and Juggernaut diff mounts for the 6? i really like the look of them but the aluminium and 3 piece construction VS steel and 1 piece from CpE is what concerns me?

I have them on my mps, the originals had iffy quality, the new ones are solid as a rock, and beautifully made. was a shame to put them onto the car

Just cause it is aluminium don't think it is weak.

The old design had reports of warping and breaking in some cases, I believe they revised the design and its now OK, but I would still go with the CPE rear and Turbine Tech front, tried and proven results.

Cam has been in the business over 30 years and has hand engraved many designs and specialises in Harley Davidsons bikes (don't wanna piss those guys off!)

He said because of the density of the Stainless Steel that he would start off with the computer and then go over it by hand to give the design more definition

I'm probably going to just get the outline of the 'MPS' logo with the H-Pattern so that it doesn't take too much away from the knob itself rather than filling in the logo

    $45.00 is his price

I dropped off my knob to be engraved last week and today I'm told it cannot be done as the knob is too curved

The straight lines ended up following the curve of the knob and being splayed rather than straight. He just wasn't happy with the overall result

He repolished the knob to bring back to original, which took him 2 hours and now I've decided to go for the laser engraving, which will be black like the "SURE" logo

Ah well. I had to try, but I'm guessing these are the problems SURE are having as Cullen said they were 'having problems with design"

Hope it turns out, keep tuned
