Default Waiting for MPS is hard, but will be worth it!

    Hello,

I am waiting on a 2010 MPS Lux, been 2 weeks now... its doing my head in!

Can't wait to get in and take it for a drive though.
    I previously owned a 2010 SP25.

Looking forward to becoming part of this community and catching up for drives, seems like a great and friendly place!

Hi all thanks for the warm welcome!

    To answer your questions:
I wanted to get a colour that i had never had a car in, and my SP25 was blue so i decided on the Red one.
Also i am in the south east but work in the city.

Hopefully should be getting it this week sometime, then i am going to go for a nice long drive somewhere on the weekend !

    Very nice mate.

I may be wrong, but I think you might be our first Velocity Red Gen II on the forums in Vic

Really? I'm surprised. I thought you guys had some semblance of taste down there (sorry, it was irresistible).

I'm completely biased, so ignore me!!!

Congrats on the purchase. The excitement of waiting is half the fun. The other half is hanging onto the wheel leaving the dealership with a stupid grin on your face.

Yeah i havent even got the car and i'm thinking should i do some mods, or should i wait...?

Red is supposed to make the car faster right?

The people at the dealership will think i am 18, i will be so excited when i get the key in my hand!

    Lol hush Brad

Whether you do mods and how quickly you do them is entirely up to you mate. Personally speaking, I gave it a couple of months before embarking down the modding path, so I could get a feel for the car prior to changing it. The delay also gave me a chance to read up and work out what mods I wanted to do in which order and also ensure the mods were ok with the servicing dealer warranty-wise (a clear idea of mods and a chat with the service manager at the dealer about them is always a good idea if you're planning to have your car services at a dealer)

The adventure is about to begin

I was thinking the same, i was going to maybe do some more visual things before i think about performance, like window tint and making it a bit lower.

    Small things like that.

Definitely looking forward to going on cruises and getting to know you guys and learning what the guys around here have done to their MPS's.

Hi and welcome. modding is all about the car, drive it for a while and u will find things u want to change .. esp if other members let u drive there modded mps's.

Dont listen to Sam's(sarcasticone) springs work better upside down and i really do own my car its not borrowed!!
