Yeah i did , dropped it off at about 10:15 Jeremy was keen to get it, would of had it by close of business tonight but the CAI was incorrect apparently so that is getting fixed.

The engine mount is done, the 2XS race pipe has been installed.

Pick up is late tomorrow night .

There was another MPS there too.

Jon when you got it tuned how did you go about it in relation to HP-F? Did you just say make it as powerful as possible with still maintaining 100% reliable?

Or did they just do there business?

I told them to have fun with it. Marty the tuner is awesome, he knows his stuff. Made it powerful, and yet reliable. The tune, compared to others, runs rich. Means no chance of leaning out and destroying something.
I love my mazdaedit tune... You'll love yours.

I got it back and wow, its basically identical to Premhk's and i'm very happy.

Firstly would like to say i was comfortable with HP-F they were always in contact with me and willing to communication .

    Work Done:
    60,000Km Service
    -Included checking Engine Mount (TZR)
    -Lubricating Drive-shafts

I gave them my own oil cause I manage to find Elf Oil Better and cheaper .

    Mazedit Tune
    HP-F CAI installed
    2XS Race Pipe installed

Total cost was approx $1650 not to bad considering intake and tune is $1295 and the labor for drive-shafts is about 45min - 1 hour.
Total Service cost was $200 obviously would add $90 for oil.

And now the important stuff of POWER!
*** ALL KW IS power at Wheels***
On the dyno day it pulled 163.2kw @ approximately 5300rpm as for Nm i know its not the actual figure but it scored 380Nm
Today after the installing of the 2XS TIP and Race Pipe with HP-F CAI it only managed 134kw @ approx 4700ish and about 350Nm.

This result could of been for a dozen reasons, none of which i believe is the mod's i've attached mainly because with them attached the ass in seatometer felt similar if not a little more.

    Now for the big one...
    After Mazedit Tune it scored:
183.4 kw @ 5500rpm and approx 450Nm. So the on the day increase of 48 peak kw (37%) and Nm was 100nm (29%)
Not just peaks but power is above the 134kw stage @ 3500ish RPM and is above 176 from 4600 - 5800.

Anyway here are the pictures of my install of the TIP and the HP-F CAI. + Dyno Charts.

    Regards
    James

Saw and heard the car on the dyno this arvo. (I work down the road) It was revving its nuts off and sounding fantastic. Sounds like you have made a great car brilliant!!!!!!!!

Good to see my old ride getting a few more horses. Cheers Bruce

Well let me put it this way, i've never had either of my cars serviced by anyone else outside my family (uncle ran a shop) and this was the first time and so far i couldn't be happier.
