Guys,
When reversing on full lock, I get a shudder like the rear wheels binding, then slipping. It's hard to describe, but feels like a LSD which is quite tight.
Is this normal. The car is nearly out of warranty, so I am hearing every noise now

If you apply the handbrake one notch, does it stop happening?
I shall try that.
Hi mate, have a read here, might help you Strange feeling reversing refer to Doug's comments on full lock/power steering/stalling etc. I think there certain strains when reversing at full lock so my guess would be is that it is normal but have a read of the thread and see what you think. Hope that helps
That's exactly it. Thought it may have been something like that.
The handbrake trick or the thread I linked? Sweet, so all good then?
The thread you linked described it perfectly. I'll try the handbrake at the shops tomorrow
Good to hear Also try lifting the handbrake to the first notch at 100kmph if that resonance gets too annoying
Its normal, another reason why its most stallable in reverse
Is now.
Look it up in the dictionary. Will have a photo of a 6 MPS in reverse
I was going to refer you to my item but ROGWICK beat me to it - and saved me some writing - thanks ROG!
Lol no worries Doug, copied and pasted a few of you posts now!!
