Thread: Hello everyone

    Default Hello everyone

    Hi all,

I had an invitation card left on my windscreen by one of the members here so I thought i'd come and say hello.
I used to be a holden VXR member and just converted to a Mazda 3 driver not too long ago, mine is not a MPS but I am assuming this is okay since someone left me a card?

Nice to be here and look forward to speaking to other members.

    Dan

Hi Dan and welcome. Was your car parked near Lady Macquari's Chair on Christmas day? If it was I'm the guy who left the card and no you don't have to own a MPS but I strongly recomend you buy one!

Yes it was Alan. Thanks for the invitation. It freaked me out a little to see the card on my windscreen because I knew my parking ticket would have expired!
I would love to have a mps, but a bit over my budget for the time being.

Similar reason, I needed something with 4 doors and I also needed an automatic transmission since I started catching buses to work so my girl friend can use it on weekdays.
I am very happy with my new Mazda but I must admit, I do miss the turbo charged engine and the 18 inch alloys

Enjoy this place.....plenty of social interests and events...

Owning a MPS would be good....but everyone is welcome and treated the same ()

VXR is a nice car....but with 2 drs and not as much power as a MPS and more expensive...it didnt sell well..

I have owned 2 Opel cars in my life....and i find them very unreliable with our hot climate....

Also.....the VXR came std with 19's

But looked agressive and i did like the wheels.

    Happy Motoring

    Hahahaha, it's getting that way.

Though there's only a couple of us down here in Melb now. About the most confusing thing you can shout here at a Vic event is "Hey Alex!"
