hey guys, got a response on this gtech pro unit today, here's the email:

Just to let you know that the new version of the RR is due to come in the first week of January.

    * A High resolution LCD display with changeable backlight colour

    * Improved mounting system (install and remove in a second)

    * More durable design & able to withstand summer temperatures of 175 Celsius

    * Built in GPS 10Hz engine making the unit even more accurate.

Price for one RR unit is $325. (includes extended 2 yr Australian warranty) – 10% discount for 5 units or more.

Express postage is $15 Australia wide.

    Australian 240v adapter is $15

With the gtech pro unit RR how similar to a DashHawk is that??? I'm noob when comes to the onboard moniter things lol.

Will it still diagnose CELS, and clear them?

On there webpage seems more of a track day unit then a DashHawk did?

I can get hold of some dashhawks, approx 10 at about 245-250 a unit, that's shipped here, not sure how much postage will be to send them here in Aus.

I just posted a CES SRI from Melbourne to Brisbane for $25 Registered and they measured the parcel since it was so big...

DashHawk would go on weight and id assume about $10 - 15

Get them to calculate 2 packages and see if it's cheaper than the 10% duty minus the saving of one package!

they can under value the declaration, but if it gets lost in post, insurance would only pay for that amount. otherwise send separate packages so that the value of the goods AND shipping is less than AUD$1000
