Default J Barone short shift kit.

Item: JBR short shift plate and light shifter weight.
    Location: Toowoomba
    Item Condition: As new
Reason for selling: Don't like it - too much adjustment required
Price and price conditions: $30, Pickup or convenient meet and deliver, shipping by you if needed.
Extra Info: Adjustments not required unless using OEM airbox, slightly shorter shift than 2XS plate. Airbox clearance required due to elevated fitment, without which cable boots would rub and degrade.

Just for those of you who are interested, I use the JBR ssp and did not have to do any adjustments. I use the stock airbox, so this aspect was a bit of a pain, but end results are still worth it

    good luck with sale

I can't compare the JBR because I didn't install it. I just wasn't happy with the fitting issues - bumping OEM airbox, etc. Don't like the raised fitting, which is a retrospective fix for cable boots rubbing. I wasn't aware it rubbed the airbox when I bought it, but I had checked to see that the kit I recieved had the cable boot rubbing fix applied to it. Was happy to recieve one that had a fix for the known problem, only to find there was a new clearance issue. I put it aside because I want neat fitment.

2XS unit just fits neatly and works. Not quite as short a throw as this JBR.
I test fitted the JBR weight to the 2Xs plate while installing, but took it off because I prefer the stock weight. Lighter weight feels less smooth, less precise. OEM weight is a nice smooth "snick" into gear. OEM weight on the JBR plate might be a bit heavy due to being shorter throw till. I also fitted a momo shift knob, which feels like it's teflon coated or something, and was surprised to find that that improves the feel a little, too.

For anyone without an OEM airbox, JBR shifter give you shortest shift plate on the market, I think.

Yep, it's been offered at a bargain + shipping on enquiry, but didn't hear back.
    I'm thinking $30 + shipping.
Just a moment while I make a point of listing a price on the opening post.
