Would this be compatible with Opticoat?

Thanks for letting me know about those links mate Fixed.

Yeldarb - the clay will not remove Opti-Coat. You can even use a non abrasive paint cleaner on it if you want. I don't think you would be needing clay anytime soon though?

just a question with this joel
do we go wash -> clay bar -> hydro? (and is this ok to do?)
also, if i added in banana gloss, would that go inbetween clay bar & hydro? or do i just skip the hydro?

    Thanks

That's right mate. But if you want to throw the Banana Gloss in there, give it a few hours to let the resin set up before applying any Hydro.

    awesome, thanks
    have placed order now
btw, guessing one clay bar should be enough to do the whole car (on average, obviously there will be special cases where you need more...)

Unless your car is in real bad shape mate, you should get more than one car out of a clay bar. You'll know when it's had enough when you can't refold it and produce a surface that you are willing to use on your car! If you do hit a bad spot (like say behind your rear wheels on the lower guard) and you pick up a heap of crap, give it a wipe over with your thumb or finger to remove some of the crud before you refold. This will help the clay last a bit longer.

When you are finished and if the clay has more life in it, spray some lube on it and wrap it up in something like a sandwich bag or glad wrap.
