Performance Model Breakdown has been added to my first post. A bad result this month for the Mazda3 MPS.

Also, Black is still the most popular colour....

Mazda3 MPS colour breakdown July 2009 to October 2010

    Black Mica (16W) - 288 or 30%
    Aluminium Metallic (38P) - 278 or 29%
    Velocity Red Mica (27A) - 275 or 29%
    Celestial Blue Mica (38J) - 111 or 12%

Even tho not good for Mazda I like the fact they are not overly common. Although as mentioned previously there are 4 others in my very near area.

I'm surprised the ralliart lancer is such a poor seller.

Im surprised the MPS isnt selling better ... but nice to see that black is most popular

Now just imagine if you had a sexy MPS6 to swipe off the sales from that hideous Liberty

I was also told that some dealers are surprised to even see the MPS3 still coming into Australia because of Sales, they were on par to MPS6's sales at the time and that there was talk of stopping the 3 as well..... Hence the reason of stock hold some dealers are to frighten to take stock in... Some have no balls or don't have know how of selling up......

Not good Rino, I hope Mazda gives the MPS3 more time and bring the Gen III before pulling out the plug, hopefully this time they will bring out something that can compete with the GTI and Subaru..., i wouldnt worry about the XR5 in the future, the new one looks like

I would tend to think the runaway runout sales on the XR5 and the launch of the new WRX are leaning performance buyers towards those two, hence the lower numbers for the MPS and Lancers

Also there have been a lot or GTI's and R's ordered recently which will be delivered in Nov/Dec (8 R's just in WA on the one boat!!! there are another 5 boats due over the next two weeks with similar quantities!!! and that's just R's in WA)

Mazda need to hammer up some new advertising and/or pricing/spec levels to make the MPS more desirable as it would be a shame for it to dissapear from our market!
    R36 - Just like an MPS6 except with a growly V6

I still find it hard to believe the MPS is not selling a whole lot better , the motoring media have a lot to answer for .I'm doing my bit creaming most of the high performance cars in Cairns , hopefully the OZMPSClub's cruise & disply at the Bathurst 12 hr & the Aust wide baton relay will help raise the MPS'S profile . Failing that you need Rino ( 240MPS ) & I marketing the mighty mps for Mazda Aust in a MPS race car no less Forget save the whales lets save the ultimate drivers car the Mazda 3 MPS .
