From this pic is doenst look near as bad, would have to see one in the flesh though...reckon the color isnt helping either. Their biggest issue is in the rear with those lights and ghey exhaust.

    Love the front seats though!

A lot make comments on the so called smiley face on the front of the gen2 3's.
But is with the front of this thing? Looks like a whale shark with its mouth open, ready to glide through the water and collect plankton. Either that or a frog. Tail lights are also awful.

Well I'd have one but a little exxy. Like around 20K more exxy for Im not sure all that much more what yet.

If the reports are believable it's got the front end torque steer a little more under control than the MPS (though still sounds like BS reverse engineering a "why didn't we make it AWD" answer to me.)

Seats are way cool, don't hate the colour of the displayed model even though I wouldn't buy it.

Yep the front end got hit with the ugly stick, so did the smiley face MPS 2 but you know what-I don't even notice anymore. You get used to it.

The front will take some getting used to...But the rear..MFG..What were they thinking!!!!!!!!

    Coming to Australia?

They are here, and have been for a month or so.
Test drove one a couple of weeks ago.
Really nice, I was impressed and hope to be buying one in a few months time.
They are a nice happy medium between the quality and refinement of a Golf GTi and the rawness of an MPS.
It goes like a MPS but with a much nicer clutch and gearbox, and a lot more gadgets inside

Here is another article - She says, he says: Ford Focus ST

I thought the original spec was 206kw. This one says 184kw ?

think 184 is right, its slower than the Megane RS265 and the Astra OPC which have 200+

the interior remains unsightly... they are obviously targeting the younger generation

Not much worse than a gen 2

Cobb have their AP out for it now. No idea if it will work on Australian cars though.
The say the ECU is even more complex than Mazdas.

Hope to know for sure soon
