did you install it in your car ... do you have pics of that ?

when you say OEM does that mean its Mazda supplied all functiaonality is controlled by the steering wheel and where does the connector for the ipod sit in the car ?

it was in the car when i brought it..the ipod manual says "genuine mazda accesory"

no idea about the functionality i have never used it..! my missus has a small ipod whic does not fit..

the ipod cable is in the glove box ? what you mean connector?

yeh let me know if u can control through steering wheel and if song names come up on info dash etc...thanks

the manual does say something about info on the dash..havent had a good look at it to see if it says anything about using the steering wheels controls..

if anyne wants the part number of the unit to do some checks let me know and il post it up..

just reading the manual states "song titles are not displayed" "artist and album name text display is not possible"

"after connecting the ipod to audio system ,perform all operations from the audio unit. Control is not possible from the ipod"
