Default Local GenII Catchup @ MPS Garage Penrith, Sat 21/08/10

    Hi Guys,
Ill be at MPS Garage on Saturday between about 9:15 and 10am in event that someone wants to see how a GenII with CAI with Inlet Pipe, DP, CBE and BOV sounds & runs.

Sikdailo and I will do a few street 'power runs', and others are welcome to come for a squirt.

Aaron from MPSG will make himself available to discuss mods/tuning options with anyone.

    Hi Guys,
Just wanted to thank all that turned out on Saturday. Good to meet you all in person and put a face to a username. Totally amazing to drive a stocker now that mine has had all this work done, and shocking to realise what I started with. You just get so used to the power that you start to question the mods, but not any more. I know that you guys were all surprised to see the difference, but just wait to see how good it will be after the tune when I fit the CP-e Standback and PNP. It will be mental.

Another surprise is that HEX will have the first set (to my and MPS Garage's knowledge, anyway) of Eibach Pro Kit Springs in a GenII. Maybe even getting fitted tonight.....

Yup, was good to meet yourself, Sikdailo, Graham and the MPS Garage lads.

Thanks for letting me have a squirt of the HEX.

Power difference to mine (with CAI) was a big difference.

The JBarone plate also makes the shifts so much shorter...i thought i kept on missing 3rd in your car!!!

Hi Luke. I saw her tonight whilst we were fitting the Eibach Pro Spring Kit. I even patted her goodnight. She is sleeping now.

That must be a very lucky owner, Pirate! I know that these have been on back-order for the longest time. Not even Eibach Australia have these in stock. No shit.

    MPS Garage FTW!

    yeah that was me?

I have had them on my SP25 for months now

ordered via shox.com and matched them with koni FSD's

eibach australia was a waste of time, $300 more than me importing it myself..

running on SP wheels though atm.

yeah I know but it was a bit of a compromise I guess, with 17s im happy with the ride quality but running on the 18s it became a bit crashy over larger bumps that made the car feel 'uncomfortable' I guess, just a personal opinion but it was enough for me to want to go back to running on the 17s

+ I cant ever go back to the 'stock gap' so the choice was made easier.

still sucks though, they look fantastic I have to say.
