Thanks Paul. The dark chrome is really nice. Had to put new rubber on as well. They're Sumitomo HTR Z III 235/40/18. $246 a corner.

Apparently the track day did a bit more damage than I expected. Check your rears. Mine were worn on the inside egde.

Sorry about the crappy Iphone photo. Hopefully tomorrow after I clean off the bugs from Toowoomba last night I'll give the SLR a crack.

Sux that lower models get the option. It's good also that the other half was very keen for one, so who was I too say no. Dealer fitted and a 10 year warranty.

Gotta paint the calipers now, since they are much more obvious with those rims

That's the plan. Looking st doing black calipers with Red MPS stickers I bought a few weeks ago. I just need to "find a friend" to get some advice. Quite a few people have done it here, but having a look in the flesh is always helpful.

Forum Reg, can you move this to "Post Your Rims Here". Couldn't find that thread via Tapatalk last time.

Feel greedy having my own Thread

Rims look good mate! I've always been a fan of dark rims so myself I would probably paint them but I do think they look great on your ride. Painted callipers would look awesome. Red or black would work well I think, any other colour might look a little odd on a red car? I would be happy to show you my car in the flesh with the callipers painted, unfortunately I'm in W.A!

I've PM'd you with some info on painting callipers (the way I did it), hope it proves to be a helpful/interesting read!

Nice taste.. Black with red MPS logos would be very hawt. Im so glad mine were done before I took ownership of the car.. Its makes a noticable difference IMO.

Thanks, I'm trying to be subtle...(yeah right!) Red calipers might be a bit much for my wife to take.
