As for questions about payment. I'd prefer this Paypal SendMoney Method, but I'm happy with bank account as well. Which ever you are comfortable with. I will provide address and phone number when it comes time to pay up. But for now I'll do some more research on prices etc. before we go to much further.

If anyone can offer some advice for a successful group buy, I'll like to here it. Forum Staff?

    Interested.

I had a look at these last night.

The only thing to be aware of is that you have to drill holes to install these.

I also couldnt find an installation manual for the Gen 2, but they may just not have posted it on their site yet.

Got in touch with Brian from Red Line Tuning. He's on holidays till the weekend but he can tell me that disounts start once we hit 20 and then 30, 40 etc.

I'm thinking of extending this group buy to OzMazdaClub.com to get more numbers.

Will be in touch once I know more.

This requires you to drill into the metal of the car doesn't it?

Below is a quote from the website. Looks like there is some drilling...seriously not a big deal.

The Redline ones may require drilling, but are probably the best struts on the market.

I can't see the need for these, I give it to a mechanic and I drive it with the bonnet closed

I agree. I can't see the point of these struts?

I am probably in (MPS6 elite type) BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE PREPARED TO SEND UNDER SEPERATE COVER TO THE UK FOR ME, how much extra would this cost ???

I see your point, but they do look allot better than the rusty bent stick, and I did find that the stick got in the way when doing anything with the engine.
I installed a short shift plate which required removal of the airbox. The stick did get in the way here so I do think the dampers are a good idea.
Plus, if you do mod the engine, they do look much better...kind of in the same box as engine covers, only a little practical, but tidy the engine bay up a bit.

Its a cosmetic mod.., thats the point of this. However dont like the idea of drilling.

Nickows put these (or similar) in on his 6 from memory and he had to drill some holes, however at the end of the day this is the sort of Mod you'd leave in when you sell the car so the drilled holes won't be a problem, just remember to cover the bare metal with some primer or something similar!

Thanks Shakespeare. I couldn't have said it better. I lift the hood every time I clean my car. Plus I just really like the look of it.
