    Default 17 inch rims

    there was a thread a while ago about switching to 17 inch rims to allow for cheaper tyres and maybe eleviate rubbing of gaurds with the smaller rims but just cant remember which thread it was anyone remember

    Reducing the size of the rim to 17" wouldn't eliminate rubbing issues.

    You would have to inrease the sidewall to 50/55 series to correct the rolling diameter.

    If you want cheaper tyres, get 235/45 18 on wider rims.
