CORKSPORT- These are very new, a couple of guys in the US are running them, contact MPSGarage for availability here. Looks like a nice design using the scoop for air intake.

A few pics of Gens II running the Corksport FMIC but in the Corksport website they arent listed (yet?) as available for GenII and with a little, and if you can buy direct from Corksport heaps cheaper even after shipping!

    Thanks guys!

i got the older one, without the bonnet scoop. i saw this article in "Fast Fours" that there is FMIC kit for the MPS 6 from HDI in Sydney and it's not too bad, gave a 26kw more output just from the cooler change, i woundering if they can do one for the MPS 3.

I've been watching Corksport since they developed this for the GENI. I thought it would be possible to fit it to a GenII, but I read the intercooler wasn't the right shape to fit.

    Looks awesome. My dream mod!

Hey, the cooler is from HDI. sorry for the late reply

btw, there wasn't any cuts and mods to the car itself, the pipes fits nicely without having to change any things in the engine bay and the cooler just set in the space between the front frame and the radiator, the power steering radiator got lifted up but that was it. the dyno was done before and after the install and was carried out at castle hill performance centre in Sydney. Everyone there was surprise with the result. The guys from HDI fit out the cooler and arranged the dyno for me as well

I just had a look on their website. Their Intercoolers look very nice.
Would also love to hear how much it cost?

  15. Default

it started off with 117kw and after the install it got to 146, so that's 29kw almost 30kw

i will update a photo of the dynos later, and some other photos of the install

Maybe I missed something here but I thought the 3MPS was about 140kw at the wheels stock?

  17. Default

Well, mine was the 2006 model and gen I, but it has only got 12ooo km on the clock, the dyno was done before and after the intercooler install and those were the figures

Mine is an 07 jap import. 166atw on a rolling road. standard as far as I can tell.

I 100% believe that those are the figures that you got

Your first run (before the intercooler) just seemed a bit low to me. Will be interesting to see what other people think.

yeah, me too... will be interesting to see what other people's got. but still a alright power gain.

it's also been running on V-power too if anyone asks...
