Its also critical that you retorque the bolts in the specified sequence, this can also prevent vibes.

yeh wat matt sed, i went to retoque mine and they were still good as gold

i rekn if ur paying someone to do it for u it should only cost maybe 50 bucks, coz it honestly only took me 15-20 mins and i have little to no mechanical experience aside from bolt ons.

if u have the tools available or can borrow off someone i highly recommend that. also there is nothing like the feeling of having installed a mod yourself to ur pride n joy

You wouldnt happen to know the sequence? After ~1.5weeks and nearly 1000km, i still havent felt any difference from the first day it went in...

Turn the AC off? I've found mine is more noticable with the aircon on, and during driving not really any bad vibes, but on takeoff and low rpm.....she does the shake a bit. It settles until you can turn the aircon off idling at the lights and not really notice the vibes much.

Take II - Mines settled down considerably since we refitted with new bolt.

At idle can't tell - only when you take off in 1st.

Does anyone have the torque sequence for this mount?

I'm seriously considering removing my mount. Im getting vibratons across the entire rev range, especially bad under heavy load (and lift off).
I want to try and re-intall the mount and hope for the best.

If anybody can help it would be much appreciated.

VGP, give it around 500km. It'll settle down.

Thanks, i'll wait a little bit longer and see how it goes.

After another 300km today its the same as day 1 which is rather disheartening.

You need to torque up the vertical bolt, i,e the one that goes through the rubber bushing into the subframe first, then the horizontal bolt second, and using a torque wrench goes without saying.

Wow thats lucky thats how I did mine without knowing that...just seemed like the logical way to undo and do them up.

If anything, doing the mount the way cp-e recommends, which involves removing the bracket from the gearbox (held in by 3 bolts), the lazy option would be to tighten the mounts horizontal bolt to torque first (while the mount & bracket are off the car), as maneuvering an 18" torque wrench under a car supported by jackstands doesn't leave you much swing room.

Does anyone know the bolt size that bolts the mount to the engine plate??

I am going to get a Grade 8.8 bolt over the weekend.

Nar, we replaced the bolt with one from Troy. He advised to get a GR8.8 eventually.
