    Default Co2 sensor

    Hi, how to get the top co2 sensor out from top of dump pipe? DO we cut the wires than long socket? i got to this stage in 3 hrs today but had to stop due to failing light..

    If you cut the wires it will cost you about $500 for a new sensor, there is a specialised bit required for removing o2 sensors, looks like a regular socket with one side missing to allow for the wires to go through.

    there are 5 wires coming out of teh sensor. couldnt u just rejoin the wires?

    found teh sockets in the usa. looking for someone that sells them here.. does anyone know where i could 1 on a saturday lol?

    call chris at best mufflers

    dont cut the wires.. you will make my fail of the week list if you do that.. you cant reconnect these after you cut them

    Brake line spanner set sounds like the go to me.

    I think repco sells em.

    yes thought of that. but in order to get the heat sheild off to get to the bolts to the down pipe, you have to take the senser out. and you cant get into the senser with a spanner..WELL NOT WITH OUT MODDING TEH SPANNER TO FIT lol

    use an o2 socket remover or a 22mm stubby spanner, i think 8mm bolts are on heatshield but if the shop will do it go there

    It is a special tool as previosly described.

    Autobarn generally sell them too. ($50 mark?)

    Thanks troy..... might just buy one when im in maitland autobarn... never know if i ahve to use it again or someone else

    HI,
    Dump pipe OUT!! took me about 5 hrs, with premative tools NOTHING STRIPPED OR BROKEN... I just want to thank all for your help and guide through... esp 2xs for your past advice with the dump pipe tips

    Its going to be a sad look tomorrow. mps on a trailer! towed buy a toyota lol to get the dump pipe fitted and a couple of changes to the exhaust. want to put a resonator in teh system to take out some of the drone.

    I receiced my BNR turbo today its about 90% mounted up. no photo as it looked like a new K04 couldnt see the point of it lol. but i have a photo of the dump pipe and A REALLY NON FLATERING photo my wife took ... enjoy
