KU36's based on friends impressions/experiences - but thats pushing hard on the track, where KU31's were "rubbish" and thats the last time they'll buy them

check out some forums - i think they might be on special still.........

I'm running the KU19's, not quite as soft as the 36's so you will get a little more life out of them, still pretty grippy for a road tyre and great in the wet.

i bought the KU36 from option1. Only had them for a few hundred kms but so far they are very good.

Road noise is at least 50% quieter than the stock tyres. Went for a nebo run few days after I got the tyres and they held very well. My cars stock, so the suspension was too soft for the tyres.

tyre life, I expect them to wear pretty quick as they are soft. I might try the road performance tyre after this depending how they wear

From my experiences the KU36 offer a lot of cornering grip, but lack some grip during straight line acceleration.

Mine are 225's and I feel the stock 215's offered more grip in high RPM acceleration.

Maybe I have not bed them in properly but over the past 2 or 3 days I have found 2nd has started wheel spinning at around 5000rpm.

Default I have the KU31's on my MPS6

And I am way happier as well. Completed a 700km trip last weekend to "scuff them in" and couldnt be happier. Even happier cause I paid $150ea for them from ST Georges tyres online.

Its a more common size, so therefore it is cheaper as they produce / import more bringing the unit cost down.

That would be the nice cold weather we are currently experiencing, I hate it, but my car loves it.
