    Default Turbo Extraction

    Hi All,
    im bout to remove my turbo from my mps3 and wanting a rough guide. im pretty handy with the steel in my hands BUT there are always thos little things that can make it easier. As this is my first go at it i was after some pro advice. do's, donts

    heatsheilds will cut you to bits if you are not careful.

    Otherwise, it's very straight forward.

    remove the heatsheilds (the nightmare part)
    remove the accessories attached to the top, intake, oil, water etc.
    remove the DP (maybe the second cat too, from memory)
    unbolt the support bracket and oil line
    and finally unbolt the turbo

    it's that simple. Just go slow and use lots of CRC (or WD40)

    im also replacing the intake pipe so would it be a good idea to remove the intercooler etc as well? Cuz this would make it easier yes?

    I should have my BNR turbo next week or 2. im taking my car in for a dyno run near where i live tomorrow see what she does with 1st cat back and k&n pannel filter. is $120 for the run a fair price?
