MPS 6 Airbox Mod

Hi All,

I do eventually want to buy a complete CAI kit but I have better things (like my holiday) to be putting money towards.

I am happy to go out an buy a panel filter for the standar air box and I am sure it will make some difference, but I understand there is a resonator box in the guard which can be removed.

I have a WRX also at the moment and I know with them you could simply remove that resi and channel the air into the standard airbox with out any dramas.

- Is it the same with the MPS 6.... I am assuming it is judging by some of the DIY's on here?
- Will adding a (say K&N, unless there is a better one) panel filter and removing the resi make a difference?
- Should I bother with channelling the air from under the fog lights?
- And most importantly, will it alter the AFR's?

it wont affect AFRS..

save your money and get an intake when you can
