Default Burning Metal smell coming from Engine bay MPS3

    Hey Guys,

Just been driving around latley and noticed a burning smell coming from the engine bay.

When i opened the bonnet, it smelt like burning or grinding metal!!!!

The car drives fine, no noises, changing gears is fine, no crunching or nothing at all.

Took it to a mates mechanics shop, and he had a quick look at it, and told me that its coming from the clutch, but i got no problem changing gears :s

Has any of yous experienced this similar issue before??

    Cheers

    Andy

If it smells like an intercity train.. It's the clutch. If you load it up does it slip? Have you had any exhaust work done lately? just on the off chance...

Under a "warranty" repair of all things, I had no idea that Mazda staff negligence was covered under warranty.
I also prefer to use the term allegedly replaced.

    He Guys,

Got my car back form mazda yesterday, they said they couldnt find any faults or smell.

But after driving on the M4 yesterday to homebush, i can still kinda smell this metal burning. :s
