Yeah mate, got eaten alive one night by an MPS in the Cooper S a year or so ago on the 80-120 dash, it was infact NASA when it was stock.. And the Mini was no slouch, couple of mates with SS utes and skylines that never pulled away from me in it, so the MPS was a real surprise, so sold the Mini as it was getting on the kilometer department anyway, did the V8 thing for a few months but just had to get back into a hot 4 so after going for a blast in a few MPS's i was sold.. only a few disappointments after i bought it.. bose stereo sucks and no lumbar support in the seats, everthing else

yeah boys love the cosmic too, as soon as i found out it was the only colour that was bespoke to the MPS and not available on other mazda 3's it was the chosen one

Nice, Im also on the Gold Coast. Come down to the park on the left of the spit on Sunday afternoons .There were a few Mazda 3 MPS there amongst many other car groupies parked up and all chatting last week.

We usually head down the spit on a sunday arvo, so you GC ppl have no excuse to come see us.

Rip out all the Bose stuff, and replace the front and rear speakers and replace the tweeters. Install a resonably good amp for the front/rear. A sub in the boot will make it all much much better. Some Bose stuff is good, but some is just made to a price..
