If he offering it for 2k less, try for 3, if he goes for that I would take it.
I don't think you will make it up when you sell it comparing to 06, 07 plated prices?????? 08 plated cars fall into the series 2 range where the Gen 2's series 1 are on there own at the moment.... food for thought.. $2000 better off in your pocket and if you can get $3000 like Jason mention go for it..
Ok ill go out and put on my bargaining hat, the rims I want are around 3K with rubber so that will settle it.
Dont worry about how much more he is going to give you off, worry about how much he is charging stat...

One thing i've always thought would look good on the Gen2 is bigger exhaust tips (or bigger exhaust). Haven't seen this done as yet.

Thats the only angle the Gen II looks alright for me...from the side with some decent rims.
It has plenty of potential and I'm sure manufacturers of aftermarket parts will start exploiting this potential before long. We might even get a facelift model from mazda in the future?

I think most cars can be made to look tuff but have to say gen 1 has a head start on gen 2 just my opinion !!

Hahah that's biased of me but i think it looks horn as is, but we will see in the near future all the possibilities of the gen 2, it's still under a year old remember!!!
to be honest by owning a gen 2. to make myself happy i had to spray it white! black wheels i need to dump it on its guts, full exhaust is on the full 3" from turbo back in stainless steal with titanium tips!, what already done is; front mount intercooler [ black ] stealth and short ram intake! my car sounds awesome pretty much i rkn one of a kind it flutters like a VL turbo! car will be offf the road til i get my licence back haha
