So have you got your car back with your new down pipe?
Tomorrow once the clamp arrives apparently...
What a mish!! Truely hope it all works out for you Shins!
What a headache. Feel for ya.
Its one of the reasons I have backed off from a DP. Its the best power mod for the MPS but a PITA. Is the install the same (in terms of ease) with a MPS3? MPS3's seem to have less install issues.
I just think mine is a cluster****
Half the words that came out of my mouth can never be repeated when I did my dump pipe. I called my car every swear word under the sun, I’m sure there’s still a bit on my knuckle left on one of the bolts.......
But I’m sure you’ll love it when you eventually get your car back.
that is good to hear...as i will be most pissed if it does little...lol

The words from the guy who fitted mine... 'Farken dump pipes' HAHA
Its not really that hard
I've done a few now 4 hours done
OK...finally got my car back with the downpipe installed...this car is a ****ing beast!
What a transition this mod has made...it sounds totally animal now and goes so much better...very happy!
They took 9 hours to install and they wanted to charge me $1065! I advised them I was quoted elsewhere $550 for the install by experienced Mazda Modding Techs and they matched that price after speaking with the manager...
This thing rocks...
Don't say that! Now I want to get one...
Forgot to add- he said it was one of the best sounding cars he has ever heard- even took me out to the car to listen to it...gotta love the growl...
Good to hear! (Bad for me as you have got me thinking again)
Just do it...it is bloody awesome.
Glenn - groupbuy for CPE DP and install?
glad to hear it all finally went well shin....definitely on my list ....i was going to do just the catback 1st but maybe better off doing the downpipe at the same time while they have it any suggestions ??
I really only have one suggestion- just make sure you go through MPS Garage for those in Sydney...the mistake i made was to go to a very experienced Subi/Mitsu performance tuner who had never done a DP install in a Mazda MPS...throughout the process they were great- it was just that had to learn how to do it which made it take 3 days instead of half a day to install and that caused me a lot of inconvenience and stress thinkng i was paying for all the labour.
Love the mod- put it to the top of your list!
yes i spoke to Daniel from MPS garage on their dyno day...very interesting went for a spin in Aarons car with the whole FMIC set up ....will definitely getting them to organise my mods
