MPS6 may return?
I saw this on my internet travels, any 1 no anymore on this topic? Not too shabby looking but "Bring back the beastly bonnet!" And give it a real tail already, all the Mazda sports version of any of their cars only has a stupid lip, i want a real spoiler FFS!

I like what some 1 did with imagination on this pic... i would prefer these doors and windows, also id like some real exhausts that are not just bumper extensions.
Latool- far from normal

there's hope for you guys yet
It all sounds promising, depends where they got their info from I guess...

Old articles... I'd like there to be a 6 and 2 MPS, but the truth is, those articles were wrong when they were published and are most definitely wrong after the WFC.

financial crisis i assume (of the world type)

World Financial Crisis I am assuming.

Around the time of those articles there were a couple of press releases that suggested the MPS6 was not going to be made for 2 main reasons. 1) The sales figures for the current (last) model, and 2) The release of the US version to cover the 6 market over there. That added to the WFC, would put the likelihood of a new 6MPS at next to nil for atleast the next 2-3 years.

Is there a real market for it?
-Ralliart Colt
-Fiesta XR4
Mazda is a business, they don't make cars for the love of it. If they can't profit from the sales then they're not likely to waste the time or resources.
Personally I think an MPS2 would be quite the little track day and motorkhana weapon.

I see heaps of XR4's and those Suzuki Swift Sport things buzzing around.
-
id like to give it a good cane if i had the chance.
-
especially if it was turbocharged
-
MPS6 will be dead in my view (unfortunately).
Not enough historic sales, no offer of auto and the introduction of a new larger 6 in the US with a 3.7l 6 cyl from the CX9 would make hard for them to justify a MPS6 from a dollars approach.
