Well looks like im having a shit of a time getting this stuff imported..

Now customs is wanting me to get a Importer licence etc.. NZ Govt is ****ed..

If i cant Sort this within a few days... this stuff will be back for sale for what i paid for it...

I thought I had everything sorted for the shipping which is why i went ahead with the purchase...

How much would you be willing to spend for shipping? If you can give me dimensions and weight and how many items you have. and a delivery adress. Ill get a quote through my work, to ship it to NZ. It probably wont be that Cheap. but I can find out.

Its the Custom Clearance is the issue at this end...

I have to apply for a importers licence etc.. and supposed to obtain a proof of purchase and blah blah blah.. such a ****ing load of cods wallop..

i can get it landed here for about 200 hundred dollars.. plus a further 300 dolalrs for GST duty blah blah

so crap

My Lang is largely due to the frustration of being told one thing by Freight forwarders and then completly the opposite when things are coming to fruition...

i couldve/shouldv flown over to aussie and lugged it back as personal luggage... would have more than likely been cheaper...

Based on the info you gave me. Its not looking good. 749.00 on economy express which is the standard shipping option for our company. That include fuel surcharges and customs clearance.

Probably not the best option to take.

If Alan finds it offensive, or potentially offensive to others, it is perfectly reasonable for him to "whinge" about the content of a post, whether he chooses to do this openly in the forum, or via the report post button is at his discretion. its going to CT freight tomorrow in Sydney c/o my mate over there... hopefully CT will be able shed some more light and may know of a better way of getting it cleared...

man.. what a load of cods wallop... if this is what it takes to import some Alloy and Stainless tube.. id hate to think about the logistics of tuning a car...

fingers crossed a few hookups can sort me out something tomorrow.. as id love to get this gear on my baby... esp as i have a dyno day coming up on the 20th..

but if all else fails.. then yes.. will be stuck in sydney..
