    New Golf GTI anyday!

    ..new MPS??? pfff

I would go the GTI and then slowly mod it.. win win!

Seeing money is a factor I would look into the new XR5...., looks very close to a Ford RS!

^^ Good point there Al, XR5 is good bang for buck, particularly the runout models...

Even a XR5 would be better than a new MPS.

Its everything else that falls apart around you..

I destroyed two gearboxes in mine everything busted except the engine..

and the new DSG while its exciting any new they are ****ing god aweful...

i wouldnt recommend a golf to my worst enemy..

GTI cheap to mod??? planet do you live on HAHAHA

Euro aftermarket parts which are GOOD are expensive...IMO I wouldn't even touch anything but APR for ECU stuff and exhausts are expensive same with intake stuff...mate has a GTI Polo with a fair amount of stuff and is at the point now that the next mod will cost big $$$$

well yeah certain mods might be expensive, especially after a certain point (like any car) ....but when you can buy a chip for $1000 and add 50 kw straight up i consider that alot cheaper and easier to mod than an MPS for similar gains....

I did choose the MPS for a reason though....stock for stock much more exciting car
