Cause i have an sri it was a little bit easier, but it took less than 5 mins all up. I love mine, cheapest mod i've done. It took like 30 sec's to get the feel of it but yeah bam it's sweet.

To fit, remove the airbox, unbolt the shifter weight, remove the shift cable, refit the new SSP bolting the weight back in place, attach the shift cable and then refit the airbox.

Have you thought of fabricating these short shifters for the other models yet.....

I noticed that the throw in the new diesel 3 is long and a mod like this would be beneficial...

I have thought about it, but, it may look like I'm copying other people.

I have looked into other models, I need some R&D cars for testing, any takers?

2XS installed the plate in my 6 on Friday in a matter of minutes.

It seemed to be so easy that even I could have done it. Don't be concerned about it being hard to install.

Great mod that is simple and effective. It has reduced the travel of the shifter greatly and it feels easier to slot it into each gear.

    Thanks 2XS.

Remove the shifter cable ff the lever, remove the 2 bolts holding the shift weight, fit the SSP on top and the shift weight with the original bolts and finally refit the cable to the new SSP ball.

    Then drive It's that easy.
