Default OZ Racing rims: Anyone got some?

So looking around half-heartedly at rims I stumbled across these (Michelangelo 10 - OZ - Inside the excellence since 1971)

Anyone got them? I'd love to see some pics of them on the car. Saw a pic of them on a Golf and they looked alright.

Looks like they have an offset of 35-40 on an 8x18". Will that fit?

    Cheers,

that offset will fit afaik, but it will be illegal, i think the maximum offset you want to run is about 43 to be legal.

running +45 offset and 8 inch width is the sweet spot for most people here

    Aha. Cheers for that.

It's a pity, they look pretty nice...

    The stocks look better.

What type of look are you going for? If you know the look you are after we can help point you in the right direction. And what Gen is your car? 1 or 2?

I totally agree. The sports pack stock rims are really nice. (Gen I sports pack)

Unfortunately it seems i might have buckled a couple of mine during a late night road trip up to Forster. It seems 0.5 square meter pot holes up there pass for roads....

At this point I'm hoping that its just some of the balance weights have been dislodged but will have to wait and see.

If I had to buy new rims my first preference would be more of the same, otherwise I pretty much like most wheels with 7 - 10 spokes, Ideally in a gunmetal silver finish like the OEM Sports pack rims.

If that isn't too ridiculous to try and follow any pointers would be welcomed

Stuff like Enkei is cheaper and lighter than OEM.

Obviously you like the Oz's you posted...

Just go to Tirerack.com put in your car type and have a look at whats for offer.

Then you can broaden out from there.
