Oh bugger it is too. Looked at the pics and thought it was a motorized mechanism.

    Thanks for spotting that

Can anyone clarify this for me?

I have been waiting for months for this PCM replacement to fix my cruise issue and when I rang the dealer last they said Mazda had stopped replacing PCM's and are doing a software update now instead to rectify issue.

I have been more than patient and definately not happy with Dwyers Wollongong service, have complained since 2009 when I purchased car and response everytime I picked up car was 'We couldnt replicate the issue'.

Only reason issue was identified was because I metioned it from here.

I have given up with Eurocars trying to get it replaced. Waste of time.

Apparently, early model GenII had faulty Radio/Sat Nav displays - mould is growing on mine. Been told its some sort of reaction with some solvent that is applied?

Grand Prix have it on order to be replaced.

This is also happening to mine, have 2 small spots about the size of a pea that have developed and are slowly getting more noticeable .

I mentioned this to my service dept, knowing full well they fixed this issue for a fellow MPS owner, they blatantly lied to me and told me they weren't aware of it being an issue. I'll be going elsewhere for next service.

So does anyone know if they are doing software updates instead of PCM replacement now to fix cruise issue??

Might call Mazda customer service to clarify.

Think i'll try a new dealer too!

I remember that, but I thought is was an actual puddle of water in the headlight as opposed to condensation.

There's a TSB on the condensation. Unfortunately it consists of Mazda patting you condescendingly on the head and saying it's normal

You'd think by this day and age they would have sorted electrical issues
