Default Best shift point for stock MPS 3

    Hi guys.

What rev should we shift at for best performance? I'm assuming 5500-6000rpm. 5500rpm is peak power but will shifting that early drop power for the next gear?

    5500 is the magic number...

going any further after that is a waste of time.

Changing at 5500 will mean you should be hitting around 2500/3000 in the next gear which is when boost kicks in...

I agree the power really drops of after 5500 hundred. Changing gears here you should still be in the sweet spot for the next gear. If you wan't to hold more power between changes I recommend an aftermarket Bypass / Plumb back valve. I fitted one recently - works great
