They're all normal light bulb codes. For high beam replacements search for 9005 HID.

Let me google that for you

    Have a look here mate.

This site does pretty much any car you can think of and shows type/placement/you name it.

Probably a newbie question but i have a Set of H7 HID kits at home, and i have a 2009 Mazda 3 Mps POV pack, *So no Xenons*, i took standard globe out but it appears the twist part to hold the bulb in position has 3 points.. where as my HID kit is just round , i was under the impression gen 2 MPS uses H7 HID. but from what i see D2S looks to have the correct base to attach on the GEN 2 lights.

    Any suggestions?

If they really are Philips then you would hope they are reliable...

They come with a free set of matching parkers, code W5W , colour 4000k to match the rest of the lights.

I appreciate they are twice to 3 times the cost of some other examples posted here, but 2 year world wide warranty can't be sneezed at.

There are other options around mate that are alot cheaper and come with lifetime warranties, Phillips gear is damned good though.

Mu Secret GT HID's are a good one to look at as an option.

Laws on HIDs are kinda crap. Wouldn't that mean lowering the car or adjusting your ride hight/damper in any way would make your car unroadworthy, even though changes to suspension is legal? bah hahaha

There's sensors on your front and rear suspension, the car corrects according to them. When you change the suspension, you are supposed to reset the headlights, mazda or ford need to do this for you.

Hey AD07, Look 2 posts up and you'll see I've found the same set...LittleRedMPS made some comments as well.

I've gone a different way and will be trialling these...

2xWhite 6000K 18 SMD 9006 Car Automotive LED Fog Light : eBay Motors (item 260400178938 end time Jun-20-10 04:56:49 PDT)

I want the colour, but don't want 55w's of super bright lights zapping other motorists...(and it's 1/10 the price).

Try searching the forum further and you've find members who have posted photos.

In the end, like all things, you get what you pay for.

Gen 2 MPS non HID is a H11 Low and a 9005 (HB3) High... Not H7. Checked mine a few days ago. Lucky I checked before purchasing like 300 bucks worth of lights.

This would be why BLKMPS's H7 HIDs don't fit, completely different type of housing.
