Default Are these still any good...?

Been having dramas with one of the wheels on the Black Bitch, having a slow leak.
Was away on business last week, and the wife had been driving the MPS instead of her Maxx Sport. I get a phone call "You know you've got a flat tyre?"
Took the wheel off yesterday so I could take it to get the punture repaired, and look what I found...

Scarey Shit. Did she hit something or does the tyre have a fault with it..???? I'd get the rest checked in case maybe they will replace it or an allowance

I'd interpret what evil said and the what the photos show to mean that the tyre was run at very low pressure, resulting in a sidewall crease that began delamination. Don't think the tyres are faulty.

I ask because it looks very similar to what happened to 3 of the 4 maxxis tyres on my brothers car
long story short, ended up with an argument with the dealer and the importer who made up every excuse under the sun on why the tyres did what they did, it was proven to them many times that it was no fault of the car nor owner, yet still they argue, hang up on us and fail to return any calls.
Even maxxis head office overseas admitted there is a fault with the tyres.
Ended up with complaints to fair trading who say we have an easy case, but we don't have the money to persue it.

Funny that, the wear is identical to the three of the four tyres off my son's car and they WERE NOT RUN FLAT!!!!!

Two were still inflated to 32 psi, had not worn through - just. The third off the front deflated a week later.

I'd better clear up a few points here...
    1. Not Maxxis
    2. Orignal rubber from factory, so at least 2 years old
    3. Missus drove the car on a flat tyre (was on the rear) wondering where the smell of rubber was coming from...
    4. I normally run 40psi in my tyres front and back
    5. Most of the tread was nearly gone, was due for new ones anyways

You guys have it all wrong. That's Bridgestone's new Potenza 050A weight reduction technology. They call it the speed slit...
