Thread: Cleaning the inside MPS genII

Default Cleaning the inside MPS genII

Man the carpet is like velcro with any bits of grass etc. There is also lots of little places where dirt collects but the vaccy cant get (dyson). The instrument cluster has lots of fiddley areas as well. Nothing a paintbrush and dyson couldnt get out tho. Jobs done... came up a treat.

    rant over

How/what do you gen II’ers use to clean the basketball like dashboard?
I tried using my microfibre dust mitt but it leaves bits after im done.
So, Ive been using a damp microfiber cloth which seems to work.

I discovered today that a quick wipe with a microfibre actually BURNS the rubber dash!!
    Like a skidmark!
I am yet to discover a way to make the big white streak disappear.
Obviously Armour-All is not an option..

Where did you get your microfibre from? Never heard of something like that before.

The only microfibre I know in Super Cheap that even comes close to high quality is the Meguiar's ones.

If you got something like Kenco for example that might be the problem.
